British Literature Books

Other editions for any of the following books are fine, including Kindle or Nook editions (second-hand, mass market, paperback, and/or Kindle/Nook editions are generally the most economical). You may also find many of these books at your local library. For the Shakespeare plays, however, the Folger Library printed editions are strongly recommended.

The following British Literature books are subdivided by the quarter in which they will be covered in class. Siblings simultaneously enrolled in British Literature only need one copy of a book per family.

All students will need a copy of the MLA Handbook, 8th ed. (which they will likely need in college as well).
