Karen Scott
Director/Science Teacher
Karen has always had a passion for science and majored in biology before entering Pharmacy school. She graduated from the Medical College of Virgina with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and continues to work as a part-time pharmacist at Virginia Hospital Center. She loves teaching and has taught women’s Bible studies, Sunday school, and has tutored individual students. She homeschooled two of her three sons from 4K through high school. Karen is a long time member of Sterling Presbyterian Church.

1973- 1976: George Mason University/ Virginia Commonwealth University, biology major
1976 – 1979: Medical College of Virginia, Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree
1979 – Present: Pharmacy Continuing Education, 15 credits annually
1990: Crown Financial Seminar to become financial coach
2000 – forever: Committed life-long student of: motivation and goal-setting, home management/organizational skills, personal finances and debt management
