Leanne Caldwell
Math Teacher
Leanne Caldwell is a Christian and an active member of Reston Presbyterian Church. She has a passion for discipling and training children. Spiritually, her desire is to see each child love the Lord and to walk with Him today and for the rest of his or her life. Academically, her desire is to challenge each one to reach his or her potential. Her undergraduate and graduate degrees include majors in Bible, Elementary Education, and Reading. Her love for math and the other disciplines has grown as she has taught and tutored children.
Leanne sees a need to support the homeschool community in the area of math because many parents do not feel comfortable teaching it. While teaching in Florida and Fairfax County, she worked with a variety of students and levels. She has been working with homeschool families and tutoring in the community for about 25 years, even before she and Andy had children. The Caldwell family homeschooled all four of their children, who are currently either in college or post-college.
